Eastport-South Manor defeated Amityville this weekend 34-9 in a hard hitting affair.

The Sharks were in full control of the game as they evened their record to 2-2. The afternoon brought a lot of big hits from both sides, but ultimately it was one player who was delivering the hits instead of absorbing them.

Max Ferraro carried the rock 23 times for more than 250 yards on the day. The bell cow back not only put the offense in his shoulders delivering hard runs all day long but he also ended those runs in the endzone. Ferraro was the all everything back as he accounted for five total touchdowns. He ran in four touchdowns and he also threw for another on a deep pass to Cole Klein.

Don't Expect Bregman to Pay Off

This week, one of the bigger names in the free agency cycle signed with the Chicago Cubs, and fantasy managers everywhere sighed. Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

Futures Bettors Will Be Smiling

The College Football Championship is set, and it pits two of the more unlikely teams against each other. Indiana may have the largest living alumni base in the country, with more than 800,000 graduates, but few expected the Hoosiers to reach this stage. They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
