Mangano Named #1 Recruit

Congratulations to SWR's own 2024 national wrestling champion! Shoreham-Wading River High School freshman wrestler Gavin Mangano earned the national wrestling championship at the National High School Coaches Association Tournament in Virginia Beach, VA this past weekend. He won the 126 lb. title by defeating a competitor, 5-1, in the finals. He finished his freshman season with 51 wins and a New York State championship at 133 lbs.
