SWR Wrestling Team | Shoreham Wading River Central School District

The Shoreham-Wading River Wrestling Team captured the 2025 Mountain Duals title, continuing what has already been a remarkable season for the Wildcats. Shoreham-Wading River was in peak form throughout the tournament, finishing a perfect 6-0 against elite competition. During their championship run, the Wildcats defeated several top-tier Division I and Division II programs from three different sections across New York State, showcasing their depth, toughness, and preparation.

This championship was truly a total team effort, as every wrestler on the roster contributed to earning the Mountain Duals title and bringing home the championship plaque. From dominant individual performances to clutch wins in tightly contested matches, the Wildcats demonstrated resilience and unity at every weight class.

With the Mountain Duals victory, Shoreham-Wading River has now improved to a perfect 13-0 record to start the season. In addition to remaining unbeaten, the Wildcats have already captured three tournament championships, firmly establishing themselves as one of the premier wrestling programs on Long Island and throughout the state.

After defeating the No. 1 ranked Division I and Division II teams in Suffolk County earlier this season, expectations continue to rise for this talented and motivated group. Their consistent success against high-level opponents has set the tone for what could be a special year.

The Shoreham-Wading River School District recognized the team’s outstanding accomplishment on social media, praising both their early-season success and their focus moving forward. “There is plenty of work left to do, but we couldn’t ask for a better start to the year,” the post read. “Go Wildcats!”

With momentum building and confidence growing, the Wildcats remain locked in on their goals as they continue their pursuit of championship success this season.

Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

Futures Bettors Will Be Smiling

The College Football Championship is set, and it pits two of the more unlikely teams against each other. Indiana may have the largest living alumni base in the country, with more than 800,000 graduates, but few expected the Hoosiers to reach this stage. They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
