Addison Ruland Breaks Pat-Med's School Record

Addison Ruland | Patchogue-Medford School District

There is a new name atop the record books at Pet-Med. At the conclusion of the fall 2025 season, Patchogue-Medford High School senior Addison Ruland officially set a new school record for career goals, marking one of the most impressive accomplishments in the history of the program. Her remarkable total of 32 career goals surpassed the long-standing previous record of 28 goals, which had been set by standout athlete Tanya Alarcon back in 1998. Breaking a record that endured for nearly three decades speaks to Addison’s consistency, determination, and elite skill level on the field.

Throughout her high school career, Addison established herself as a dynamic offensive presence capable of changing the course of a game at any moment. Her combination of speed, footwork, and field awareness made her one of the most difficult forwards for opposing teams to contain. She scored in critical moments, delivered strong performances in high-pressure situations, and served as a reliable leader for her teammates. Addison’s scoring ability consistently energized the team and elevated the level of play around her.

In addition to her on-field achievements, Addison has been recognized for her strong work ethic, sportsmanship, and commitment to team success. She has served as a role model for younger athletes in the program, demonstrating what is possible through dedication and perseverance. Coaches, teammates, and supporters have praised her leadership, noting that her influence extends far beyond the goals she scored.

The District proudly congratulates Addison on this monumental accomplishment and celebrates the legacy she leaves behind. Setting a new career goals record not only reflects her individual excellence but also solidifies her place among the most memorable athletes in Patchogue-Medford history. Her achievements will undoubtedly inspire future players for years to come.

This week, one of the bigger names in the free agency cycle signed with the Chicago Cubs, and fantasy managers everywhere sighed. Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

Futures Bettors Will Be Smiling

The College Football Championship is set, and it pits two of the more unlikely teams against each other. Indiana may have the largest living alumni base in the country, with more than 800,000 graduates, but few expected the Hoosiers to reach this stage. They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
