ESM Seniors Honored at College Signing Day


ESM Student Athletes | Eastport-South Manor Central School District

It was Senior College Signing Day for the Eastport-South Manor Central School District this week as they celebrated their student-athletes. 

During Senior College Signing Day 27 student-athletes were honored for their hard work, determination, dedication and sacrifice. ESM put out a statement saying the honor was a "testament of the athletes’ commitment to their sports and teams, as well as the incredible character they developed."

At the meeting the District Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Patrick Hayes told the athletes, “We are incredibly proud of you. You’ve inspired us, and we cannot wait to see what you achieve next.”

Don't Expect Bregman to Pay Off

This week, one of the bigger names in the free agency cycle signed with the Chicago Cubs, and fantasy managers everywhere sighed. Usually, anyone heading to Wrigley Field is viewed as a positive, but for Alex Bregman, more information has emerged suggesting this move could spell trouble for his fantasy outlook. Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston.
