Shoreham-Wading River celebrated their annual homecoming game this week and the offense treated the fans to a show.

The Wildcats poured on the points over John Glenn winning 42-36 in a shootout.

Sean Casey was the star of the game and the offense ran through him all day, literally. Casey amassed 260 all-purpose yards on the day by rushing 28 times for 173 yards on the ground. He also added 2 receptions for 58 yards. He was the X factor all day, scoring three touchdowns, including the winning score with just over a minute to play in the game to give Shoreham-Wading River the win.

It was a family affair on the field for this homecoming celebration as Michael, Casey’s twin brother, also caught five passes for over 60 yards and scored a TD himself.

Defensively, the Wildcats added to the scoring bonanza as George Greene added a pick six as the crowd went wild.

This was an emotional homecoming for the Wildcats. Before the game began, principal Frank Pugliese asked the crowd for a moment of silence for their longtime head coach Paul Koretzki who passed away earlier this week.

The Wildcats will now welcome in Bayport-Blue Point this Friday night.
