They are accomplishing great things in their fields and providing exceptional service to their communities — helping to fuel Stony Brook’s unstoppable momentum across Long Island, our state, our region and the nation.”

The event took place at the Charles B. Wang Center Theater with over 150 alumni and friends attending. The honorees have been involved in various impactful activities including advocating for veterans' resources, working for senior citizens' rights in the New York State Assembly, competing in the Olympics, and fundraising for nonprofit organizations.
