Oyeleye also qualified for the state championships in both the long jump and triple jump, solidifying her place among the top field athletes in New York State. Her consistency and success throughout the season have made her one of the premier competitors in Suffolk County.

Mariah McKoy also turned in an exceptional performance at the meet. McKoy earned a second-place finish in the discus and secured state championship berths in both the discus and shot put events. Her strength and technique have made her a dominant force in the throwing events all season long, and she will now have the opportunity to compete against the state's best.

On the track, Surena Lewis continued her strong campaign by placing fourth in the 100-meter hurdles. Her finish was good enough to qualify for the state championships, adding another talented representative to the Colts' growing list of state qualifiers.

The team's success extended to the relay events as well. The 4x100-meter relay team of Alyssa Bullen, Abigail Oyeleye, Jasmin Joseph and Abiyeal Lyte delivered an impressive performance, placing fourth overall and earning a trip to the state championships. Joining them at states will be Kaylah Lyte, giving Half Hollow Hills West a strong presence on one of high school track and field's biggest stages.

The State Qualifier Meet showcased the depth and talent throughout the Hills West program, and the athletes' performances are a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
