Dedication, leadership and a commitment to helping the next generation of athletes have earned William Floyd School District senior Sam Seasam a special honor.
Seasam was recently named the recipient of this year’s Girls Youth Lacrosse Scholarship, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the William Floyd lacrosse community both on and off the field.
For years, Seasam has been a familiar face throughout the William Floyd Girls Youth Lacrosse program, volunteering countless hours to help coach, mentor and inspire young players. Whether assisting at practices, encouraging athletes during games or serving as a role model for younger participants, Seasam has made a lasting impact on the program and the families involved.
Her efforts have helped strengthen the youth program while creating a positive and welcoming environment for aspiring lacrosse players. Those who know Seasam say her passion for the sport is matched only by her willingness to give back to the community that helped shape her own athletic journey.
