It was a proud and memorable moment for the Bay Shore community this past week, as former standout Taylor McGowan was officially inducted into the New York State High School Softball Hall of Fame.
McGowan, one of the most accomplished players to come through Bay Shore High School, was recognized for her outstanding career on the field and the lasting impact she made on the program. During her high school career, McGowan established herself as one of Suffolk County’s premier softball talents. In addition, she was named an All-American, further solidifying her reputation as one of the top players in the country during her time at Bay Shore.
