Longwood Cheer Earns Suffolk Honors

The Longwood High School cheerleading team continues to be recognized for its outstanding 2025–2026 season, as several student-athletes earned honors at the recent Section XI Awards Dinner.

After a strong year of performances and competition, Longwood’s cheerleaders were celebrated for both their athletic achievements and academic excellence. Delaney Dunn was recognized with Academic All-County honors, highlighting her commitment to success in the classroom as well as her contributions to the team.

Emma Labanowski earned All-Class recognition, an honor that reflects her performance and impact throughout the season. Her efforts played a key role in Longwood’s success and helped set the tone for the team’s strong year.

Several other Longwood athletes were also recognized with All-County honors. Maggie Hart, Holly Jacobs, Julia Golden, and Leah Toscanini were all honored for their performances, showcasing the depth and talent within the program.

The recognition at the Section XI Awards Dinner reflects the dedication, teamwork, and hard work that defined Longwood’s season. From strong routines to consistent effort in practices and competitions, the team demonstrated what it means to represent their school with pride.

Beyond the awards, the season will be remembered as one filled with growth and achievement. The individual honors earned by these student-athletes are a testament to the program’s continued success and the positive culture built by its coaches and team members.
