This past week there was no shortage of standouts at the 2025 Long Island Boys Quarterback Challenge.

The annual event has become a summer event to mark on your calendar presented by Orlin and Cohen and organized by the National Football Foundation. This year the event welcomes 15 Long Island quarterbacks and their WRs for a skills competition.

There are a number of categories to highlight the QB's IQ, accuracy, arm strength, anticipation, and then honor one overall champion, that is the best of the challenge.

This year's overall champion was Nick DeVito from Smithtown West. DeVito was impressive in a number of areas and the judges saw him stand out from everyone else. Smithtown West's offense should shine this season and with DeVito at the helm the sky is the limit.

The Football IQ winner went to DeVito's crosstown rival in Antonio Marrone from Smithtown East. Marrone also was named runner up to DeVito for the overall champion honor.
