The district said "A special shoutout and heartfelt thank you to our outstanding senior athletes for their dedication, passion, and hard work over the years. They will be missed, but their achievements and contributions during their last season are unforgettable and will leave a lasting impact on our program and community! Congratulations to Imole Akinwale, Shawn Annis, Adam Eljamali, Danye Glenn, Jeremy Lowe, Ryan Mandaro, Brayden Plugues, and Messiah Smith for their dedication and contributions to the team, and we wish them the very best in their future endeavors."

Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

Indiana may have the largest living alumni base in the country, with more than 800,000 graduates, but few expected the Hoosiers to reach this stage. They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
