Swim & Dive Team Are State Champs

The Smithtown-Hauppauge swim and dive team are your New York State champions.

For the second time in three seasons, the swim and dive team won the state titles. The girls team won first place in both the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay with swimmers. Sara and Julia Lucca, Mary Schroeder and Olivia Chiofolo won the gold for Smithtown-Hauppauge.

For their individual accomplishments Sara Lucca placed first in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. In the butterfly she not only won but set the new pool record in the process.

Julia Lucca placed second in the 50 freestyle and third in the 100 backstroke.

Don't Expect Bregman to Pay Off
