The Eastport-South Manor school district has a new field.

District Superintendent Mr. Joseph A. Steimel, along with Board of Education President, Mr. Jeffrey Goldhammer, Eastport-South Manor trustees present and past, district office administration, coaches and players for the junior high boys soccer team celebrated their new field with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

This ceremony signified the official opening of the new Dayton Avenue School multipurpose field and track. The field includes a turf surface, a rubberized track and bleachers. The renovation is another completed part of the District’s Capital Project which began with the 2022.

This multipurpose field is now available to be used by our junior high school sports teams.
