Plenty of People Packed Public Library for Panico Presentation
The Sachem Library and "Friends of the Library" program recently hosted Brookhaven Supervisor Dan Panico for a community forum on what's happening in the town. For more than 30 years the Friends of the Library group has played an instrumental role in supporting the library and strengthening community enrichment. The group, made up of volunteers, raises money through book sales and offers an annual $500 scholarship to graduating high school seniors who live in the Sachem School District.
