This Week’s Man on the Street Topic: The Chinese Spy

With China making moves across the globe to supplant the U.S. as the world’s superpower, infiltration of the government by Communist spies is of growing concern. The South Shore Press Man on the Street asked residents what they thought about the Red China spy who was a high level aide in the administrations of Gov. Kathy Hochul and Andrew Cuomo.

“What is it with the Democrats and Communist spies? You had them working with Senator Feinstein and Congressman Swalwell in California, and now we had one in the governor’s office. This is not a good situation for our country.”—Steve Woronick, Center Moriches

“With all that’s happening in the world with China, they should be more careful with who they’re hiring. You would expect government employees to be loyal to our country, especially at this high level.”—Suzanne Jewell, Manorville

“You would think they’d do a better job vetting these people. To have a Chinese spy working in the governor’s office doesn’t make sense.”—Richard Harkin, Center Moriches

“I wonder who dropped the ball on this. Nobody noticed what was going on? The taxpayers deserve better than this; our country deserves better than this.”—Tim Monahan, Center Moriches

You will hear talk that Bichette is switching positions, and long term that is why some teams were hesitant to commit to lengthy contracts, but for fantasy players, that should not matter at all.
