The popular All Kids Fair will return to Melville this spring, marking its 15th year of bringing fun and family-friendly resources together under one roof.
The annual children’s expo is set for Sunday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington, formerly known as the Huntington Hilton, located at 598 Broadhollow Road (Route 110). Promising “25,000 square feet of fun,” the event is expected to draw families from across Long Island for a full day of entertainment and exploration.
Since its launch in 2011, the All Kids Fair has offered children and their families a chance to discover local businesses, camps, schools and service providers while enjoying hands-on activities. More than 80 exhibitors are scheduled to participate this year.
Returning favorites include martial arts mini lessons, a fencing demonstration and field day games. New and popular attractions such as Padawan Training Institute lightsaber lessons and a rock band demo are also on the schedule.
“My girls and their friend had such an amazing time today. I took a ton of pictures. We can’t wait for next year’s event,” said repeat attendee Cindy Frankel of Hicksville.
Children can enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, soft play for ages 0-5 and a petting zoo featuring sheep, goats, chickens and bunnies from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. At “Be a Biker for a Day,” kids can sit on motorcycles, meet members of Bikers Against Child Abuse and receive temporary tattoos. Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion will also pose for photos while raising funds for nonprofit causes.
Special guests will include Miss Long Island 2026 Geanna Koulouris, Miss Long Island Teen 2026 Shyla Silva and Ms. New York Senior America 2025 Tina Hanley.
The event will also host a charity drive benefiting Agape Meals for Kids, which provides weekend meals to children facing food insecurity. Attendees who donate nonperishable food or funds will receive raffle tickets for prizes.
Advance tickets are $5 for adults and children age 2 and older; tickets at the door are $10 for children and $5 for adults. Children under 2 are admitted free.
