Bellport High School has added Sarah Veitch to its Wall of Fame, recognizing the Class of 2002 graduate as the 2025 inductee.
Veitch is the 53rd alumna honored since the Wall of Fame was established in 2010. The recognition highlights graduates whose professional achievements reflect positively on the school and community.
After graduating from Bellport High School, Veitch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from Manhattan College. She went on to build a career in commercial banking, spending 18 years at JPMorgan Chase. During her tenure, she served as a market executive for the Long Island Commercial Banking division, where she led a team providing advisory services and lending solutions to businesses across the region.
Her work focused on supporting companies that contribute to the local economy and employ significant numbers of Long Island residents.
In 2024, Veitch joined Citizens Financial Group as a market executive for Middle Market Banking in New York City. In that role, she oversees a team delivering commercial banking and advisory services to businesses across all five boroughs, working with a range of industries. Her portfolio includes emerging-growth companies and diverse-owned businesses.
Veitch has also been involved in regional economic organizations, previously serving on the board of the Long Island Association. She holds Series 79 and Series 63 investment banking licenses.
Veitch lives in the community where she grew up with her husband, Martin, and their son, Elliott. Outside of work, she spends time with her family, enjoys boating on the Great South Bay and visiting Fire Island beaches.
