The exhibition will be held at Babylon’s Old Town Hall, 47 W. Main Street, with an opening reception at 1 p.m. on Feb. 7, 2026.
Student artwork will remain on display through March 4, giving residents an extended opportunity to view the work of some of Suffolk County’s most promising young artists.
The annual show serves as both a juried exhibition and a scholarship competition, offering students the chance to have their work professionally adjudicated while competing for awards that can support future study in the arts.
“Our annual art show enables the visual artwork of our most talented students to be on exhibit and adjudicated for scholarships,” said SCALA President Dr. Diana Cook.
“We are very proud of our students, the dedication they show to their craft, and the support they receive from their teachers, families, and friends.”
For the All County portion of the show, art teachers from participating high schools may submit work from up to three students for consideration.
Organizers expect entries from more than 50 students representing 18 high schools across the county.
The Senior Scholarship segment is open to one twelfth-grade student from each participating school who plans to attend a collegiate art program in fall 2026.
Applicants must submit three artworks along with an essay responding to the theme, “What Impact Would You Like Your Artwork to Have?”
Artwork will be featured in categories including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, mixed media, digital media, video or animation, and sculpture or 3D work.
