Aiello Leads Bayport-Blue Point To The Title

The Bayport-Blue Point boys lacrosse team are your Class C champions.

The boys beat Shoreham-Wading River by a 9-8 final score. Dan Aiello scored the deciding and game-winning goal with under 2 minutes left in the game to seal the victory. Aiello had a huge day with 3 goals and 1 assist to lead the way. But, it was hardly a one man show. Ben Morris added 1 goal and 2 assists, Maclin Keyser had two goals and one assist, Mikey Luce had a goal and an assist while Connor Curran and Ryan Hannaford chipped in one goal apiece.

#1 seeded Bayport-Blue Point finished the season 17-1 overall and 14-1 in the division. They now move on to the Long Island Championship this week against the Nassau Class C champions.

McCormick, who has committed to the University of Florida, was honored for her performance at the Nike Cross Country Nationals, one of the most prestigious high school running events in the country.
