William Floyd has moved to 2-0 on the season with a 46-28 victory over Lindenhurst.

The Colonials were led by Ja'Quan Thomas who rushed for nearly 150 years and two touchdowns. Wallace, Williams, and Cannet helped push William Floyd's rushing totals to over 200 yards on the ground as the line opened up holes all day for their backs.

AJ Cannet wasn't asked to go to the air often, but when he was, he made the most of his chances throwing two TD passes and 147 yards on just 6 completions. Joshua Jordan caught two of those passes, one of them going for a TD. He also had a defensive impact with an interception. Geo Alvarez also was a two-way star as he also caught two passes and a touchdown, plus added an INT of his own. Alvarez also returned a fumble for a TD.
