A new board has been sworn in for the Sound Beach Civic Association: Patty Blasberg, Joan Russo, Charlotte Karpf-Fritts, Bea Ruberto, and Vera Ronning.

Town of Brookhaven Clerk Kevin Lavalle presided over the swearing in ceremony, which took place at the Sound Beach Fire Department.

“During the meeting, I was pleased to participate and discuss the workings of the Town Clerk's office, how the office can help our residents with their needs, and how I am in the process of improving our services to be more accessible to our residents. Also, had an interesting conversation on various other issues going on in the community,” said Lavalle.
