Schwindel amassed 32 hits in just 83 at bats, and his 1.139 OPS ranked second in the league. He has carried the Ducks offense early on leading the team in May in home runs, RBIs, runs, walks, on base percentage and slugging percentage.

The Boston Celtics are supposed to be here. They were the preseason conference favorites and didn't disappoint. Boston upped their game once they hit the postseason with a 12-2 playoff record after dominating the regular slate of games. Boston won 64 games with the league's top ranked offense, scoring 123 points per game, and the #3 overall defense, holding teams to just over 111 points per game. They also don't seem to care about the venue because they have an 8 game road winning streak going for them as well.
Suffolk Baseball Reigns Supreme
The Kings Park Kingsmen were the first team to punch their ticket as Long Island champs when they defeated Clarke 3-2 this weekend. The Kingsmen won in dramatic fashion as a 9th inning walk off balk was called to hand them the title.
The Panthers Claw To A Long Island Championship
The Miller Place softball team continues to win and now they are headed to the state tournament. The Panthers won their first Suffolk County title since 2021 last week and now will play for the state title. After defeating Islip 4-1 and winning the Suffolk County Class A championship they continued their winning ways with a 7-4 victory over Seaford to capture the Long Island Championship.

The #2 seeded Eagles came back from a 6-0 deficit and went on to defeat the reigning champion Wildcats, who were ranked #1 in the nation. Sachem Softball Sets Their Sights On State Title
Sachem East softball made history this week as they captured their first ever Long Island Championship. Sachem East defeated Oceanside in a big time pitchers dual 2-0 to secure the title. Once again Sachem relied heavily on their superstar pitcher Olivia DeRose, and she did not disappoint. DeRose allowed just five hits to go along with her eight strikeouts in the shutout. DeRose has now pitched back to back to back shutouts en route to a Suffolk County championship and now the Long Island crown. She has not allowed a run in the past three games and her win total is at an outstanding 18 for the season.
