Users of President Trump’s Truth Social app will soon be able to make bets on elections, commodities, sports, and other real-world events through a new feature called Truth Predict. Developed in partnership with Trump’s Media and Technology Group and Crypto.com, it will make Truth Social the first social media platform to offer federally regulated prediction markets.

The Sarasota-based media group, which also operates the streaming service Truth+ and fintech brand Truth.Fi, said users will be able to buy and sell “prediction contracts” tied to major events. Prices will update in real time, allowing users to respond immediately to breaking news and developments. The move will tap into the  exploding sports betting mania that’s sweeping the country.

“We are thrilled to become the world’s first publicly traded social media platform to offer our users access to prediction markets,” said Devin Nunes, the former Congressman who is Chairman and CEO of Trump Media. “Truth Predict will allow our users to engage with a trusted network while using our platform to discuss and compare their predictions.”

Nunes added that Trump Media is “well-positioned to leverage our strong balance sheet and social media capabilities to create a new standard for prediction market access,” describing the move as part of an effort to “democratize information and empower everyday Americans.”

Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com, said prediction markets “are poised to be a multi-deca-billion-dollar industry,” adding that combining Crypto.com’s trading technology with Truth Social’s community platform will “support the world’s first prediction markets available from a social media platform.”

Beta testing for Truth Predict is underway, with a full launch planned for later this year. Analysts say the feature could position Truth Social in a rapidly growing sector that blends social media engagement with real-world stakes, attracting both new users and investor interest.
