Two Stony Brook University students will have the opportunity to win major prizes during the upcoming Homecoming football game on October 25. The event, featuring a matchup between the Seawolves and Towson University Tigers at 3:30 pm, will include giveaways for free in-state tuition and free on-campus housing for the Spring 2026 semester.
To participate in the tuition giveaway, students must attend the game. Four students will be randomly selected and notified by text to compete in a race on the field at LaValle Stadium. The competition involves racing from the 50-yard line to the end zone inside bumper balls, with the winner receiving a semester of free tuition.
The housing giveaway is open to in-state undergraduate students at Stony Brook University. Students can enter by submitting their SBU ID through an entry form, which will be verified by Campus Residences to confirm eligibility. Both undergraduate and graduate students can win this prize, as long as they are enrolled and living on campus for Spring 2026.
Graduate students are also eligible for a separate $1,500 giveaway if they are in good academic standing and enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program.
Additional incentives are planned for those attending the game. The first 500 students will receive a limited edition Wolfstock T-shirt and thundersticks, while all attendees will get a Homecoming sticker. Fans who buy french fries will receive a souvenir Wolfstock cup, courtesy of SBU Eats and Nathan’s.
More information about these giveaways and other Homecoming activities can be found on the Homecoming website.
