President Goldsmith to give first State of the University Address September 29

Stony Brook University President Andrea Goldsmith will deliver her first State of the University Address on Monday, September 29, at 1 p.m. The event will take place on the Staller Center Main Stage and is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members.

The address is titled “Accelerating Excellence and Impact.” A reception will follow at Staller Plaza. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP online.

For those unable to attend in person, the address will be available via livestream at stonybrook.edu/live. The university has also arranged for a livestream viewing at Duke Lecture Hall in Chancellors Hall on the Stony Brook Southampton campus.
