Legislator Leslie Kennedy’s office has announced that the Suffolk County Department of Public Works has tabbed Deal Concrete Corp. and Rosemar Contracting, Inc. to lead the Townline Road rehabilitation.
The long-anticipated pavement overhaul is part of a capital project championed and facilitated by Kennedy; spanning from Blydenburgh Road in Hauppauge to Jackson Road in Nesconset, it will resurface, repair and replace damaged structures across the area.
Per the pavement project, new drainage structures, curb and sidewalk modifications, and improved pedestrian crossing and traffic safety guards are all imminent through a series of ADA-compliant construction efforts.
Moreover, wherever deemed necessary, utility valve and manhole adjustments will also see thorough implementation.
“That section of road has gotten really bad in the past year,” Kennedy reflected. “These improvements are well planned and will make a drastic, positive change for Townline Road and all those who drive on it.”
The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2026.
