The Charles B. Wang Center at Stony Brook University will host several events and exhibitions for the fall 2025 season. The Skylight Gallery will present “Through the Light: Contemporary Jogakbo by Wonju Seo” from September 26 through December 31. This exhibition features a reinterpretation of traditional Korean wrapping cloths, with light passing through translucent textiles to create a meditative environment. A workshop on jogakbo is scheduled for September 27.

The Wang Center Theatre will offer performances and film screenings throughout the fall. On November 9, a shadow puppet show inspired by Wonju Seo’s exhibition will take place, followed by “Magic Q’s Veil of Secrets,” featuring a Chinese illusionist, on November 22. Four films are also set to be shown during the season.

Workshops in flower arrangement, bonsai, and other crafts inspired by nature will be available to visitors this fall.

“Whether through textiles, plants, magic or shadows, I hope you’ll continue to find inspiration, connection and warmth at the Wang Center as the year winds down and the days grow colder,” said Jinyoung Jin, director of Asian art and culture at the Wang Center.

More information about these events can be found on the Wang Center website.
