Acupuncturist Nanci Simari Brings Healing Energy to Center Moriches

Nanci Samari | Nanci Samari

In a peaceful office tucked away in Center Moriches, licensed acupuncturist Nanci Simari is doing more than just needle treatments—she’s offering transformation. With a deep-rooted passion for natural healing and decades of experience in Chinese medicine, Simari is helping patients find balance, energy, and relief through the ancient art of acupuncture.

Simari’s journey into holistic wellness began unexpectedly in the gardening section of a bookstore, where a casual interest in herbs grew into an intensive study of traditional plant medicine. This fascination led to hands-on apprenticeships in wildcrafting and tincture-making, and eventually drew her to acupuncture after her own struggle with chronic neck pain from long hours at a desk after working 15 years in the video industry.

“I had such great results from acupuncture, it just stayed with me,” she said. “I realized I didn’t want the end product of my work to be another TV commercial. I wanted to help people heal.”

Simari completed her formal education at Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City, a rigorous four-year program that provided both clinical experience and a second bachelor’s degree in professional studies. She’s since practiced in Virginia, Westhampton Beach, Eastport, and now Center Moriches, where her cozy office has become a haven for patients seeking natural solutions to pain, stress, fatigue, digestive issues, and more.

Her approach draws from all five branches of traditional Chinese medicine: acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, qi gong movement, and lifestyle guidance. “The needles are just one part of it,” she explains. “What matters most is understanding the body’s internal balance: yin and yang, qi energy, and how each organ system contributes to your overall health.”

With her warm, grounded presence and deep clinical knowledge, Simari builds individualized treatments that reflect a person’s symptoms and their story.

Nanci Simari’s practice is currently accepting new patients. Her Center Moriches office offers flexible scheduling and a serene, supportive setting for healing. For appointments or inquiries, contact her at 631-729-3005.
