Councilwoman Kesnig attends ribbon-cutting at Long Island Game Farm

Brookhaven Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig recently participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Woodland Trail at the Long Island Game Farm. The event took place at 489 Chapman Blvd in Manorville, where the councilwoman, a longtime resident and supporter of the Game Farm, expressed her appreciation for its contributions to wildlife education and conservation.

Councilwoman Dunne-Kesnig was joined by other elected officials, community members, and staff. During her speech, she highlighted the farm's impact on the local community. She stated that it has played a significant role in fostering environmental awareness among residents and visitors.

As part of the ceremony, Councilwoman Dunne-Kesnig presented an official proclamation to Melinda Novak, owner and operator of the Game Farm. The proclamation recognized the farm's decades of service to the community.
