Brookhaven Town hosts successful annual health fair with numerous vendors

Farmingville, NY - On Saturday, May 17, the Town of Brookhaven's Department of General Services hosted its Fifth Annual Health and Wellness Fair. The event featured nearly 60 health and wellness businesses, hospital groups, and governmental agencies offering residents information about local services and resources. Attendees received free giveaways aimed at enhancing their quality of life. JVC Broadcasting conducted interviews with representatives from participating businesses, local government, and non-profit organizations. These interviews were broadcast live on 103.9 LI News Radio.

Supervisor Daniel J. Panico expressed gratitude to the event's sponsor, JVC Broadcasting, for promoting the fair on Long Island radio stations. He also thanked ShopRite in Selden and Stop & Shop in Farmingville for providing healthy snacks for attendees. "We have received great feedback from both residents and participating organizations about the benefits the Health and Wellness Fair provides," Panico stated. "I’m happy to know this fair has become a reliable resource for the Brookhaven community."

The vendors at the Health and Wellness Fair included various organizations such as Aetna Better Health a CVS Company, Al-Anon Suffolk Information Services, Amber Court Assisted Living, Association for Mental Health & Wellness, Blume Communities, Body20 Miller Place, Brightview Senior Living, Cirigliano Agency, Clear Captions, Clear View Mental Health Counseling PLLC, Compassionate Talk Therapy, Cornell Cooperative Extension among others.
