Alumna Christina Geraci, a 2004 graduate of Stony Brook University, has remained an active participant in university events for over two decades. Her involvement includes participation in Homecomings, Student and Alumni Networking Mixers, the 40 Under Forty Awards, and serving as a judge at Hackathons. Additionally, she is a member of the Stony Brook Alumni Association Board.
Geraci's enduring connection to the university stems from her appreciation for its community. "Everything," she said when asked what keeps her returning to campus. "I love everything about Stony Brook. From the amazing professors to the fun organizations, I loved being there as a student. And I’m proud to be an alumna."
As a student commuter, Geraci spent significant time on campus despite her many commitments to various organizations. She successfully graduated from the Honors College with a degree in history while balancing her academic and extracurricular activities. Reflecting on her experience at Stony Brook, Geraci stated, "Stony Brook laid a solid foundation for everything from organizational and study skills to social interaction, leadership and mentorship." She credits saying yes to opportunities that challenged her comfort zone as pivotal in shaping her career.
Recently, Geraci attended the 2025 Annual Students and Alumni Networking Mixer sponsored by the Career Center and the Office of Alumni Relations. During this event, she participated in an interview with Christine McGrath for Stony Brook Matters where she expressed enthusiasm for connecting with students and reaffirmed her identity as a lifelong Seawolf.
