Uriel Rose, 41, is accused of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree and a litany of related charges, according to District Attorney Ray Tierney's office.

A 10-month investigation into Rose’s Beema Boyz Auto Garage began in June 2024. Suffolk County Police conducted surveillance during that span. On seven different occasions, an undercover detective bought cocaine from Rose.

A search warrant was successfully executed on April 10th. Eight ounces of cocaine were recovered at the Deer Park business. Rose attempted to flee before being apprehended by police. Cocaine residue was detected on his person. He allegedly flushed even more cocaine down the bathroom toilet.

“This case demonstrates our commitment to dismantling drug trafficking networks that threaten the safety and well-being of our community," said DA Tierney.

Police also recovered cash, a money counter, drug ledgers, a hot plate used for cooking crack cocaine, scales and additional drug paraphernalia.

Packages labeled “Ahijado”—Spanish for “godson”—were found in a garbage can. They may have been used to transport kilos of cocaine.

Rose was arraigned nearly three weeks later on April 30th.

“We will continue to work diligently with our law enforcement partners to pursue those who profit from the distribution of dangerous substances," Tierney added.

Don't Expect Bregman to Pay Off

This week, one of the bigger names in the free agency cycle signed with the Chicago Cubs, and fantasy managers everywhere sighed. Usually, anyone heading to Wrigley Field is viewed as a positive, but for Alex Bregman, more information has emerged suggesting this move could spell trouble for his fantasy outlook. Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

Futures Bettors Will Be Smiling

The College Football Championship is set, and it pits two of the more unlikely teams against each other. Indiana may have the largest living alumni base in the country, with more than 800,000 graduates, but few expected the Hoosiers to reach this stage. They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
