Stony Brook honors outstanding alumni for 2025

The Stony Brook School of Health Professions commemorated its 2025 Outstanding Alumni Awards on March 26. This event was a gathering of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends, intended to showcase alumni who have made notable contributions to their fields.

Dean Stacy Jaffee Gropack described the evening as "a joyous occasion that brought together our entire community — faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends." She noted that it was "an evening filled with pride and inspiration as we celebrated the remarkable achievements of our alumni who are making significant impacts in their respective fields." The event not only recognized individual honors but also strengthened "a strong sense of community spirit and connection among all attendees."

In her remarks, Dean Gropack emphasized that the occasion "truly showcased the power of our alumni network and the positive influence they have on the world."
