During the gala, both officials received proclamations from Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine. Panico and Mazzarella have roots in the Tri-Hamlet area and are graduates of William Floyd High School. They pursued higher education before entering public service.

In addition to their recognition, Panico and Mazzarella participated in presenting the Dr. Calabro Scholarship to 18 students from William Floyd High School and Our Lady Queen of Apostles Regional School in Center Moriches.

Supervisor Panico expressed his gratitude, stating, "I would like to thank the Dr. Calabro Lodge, Legislator Mazzarella and Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine for their continued support of Mastic, Mastic Beach and Shirley community."

Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.
