The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Suffolk County was $2.99 per gallon.
Of the 564 reported gas stations in cities within Suffolk County, 285 offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in New York was $3.13, compared to $3.11 the week before.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
