Solstice Sunset

The Outer Beach near the Moriches Inlet | Robert Chartuk

The days will now get longer until the Vernal Equinox on March 19, when there will be equal days and nights.

The weekend brought some snow to the Outer Beach near the Moriches Inlet, where the surf was up and the wind was brisk.
