Moriches Elementary School's card drive brings holiday cheer to local seniors

Moriches Elementary School collaborated with New York State Senator Dean Murray and the organization "Voices for Seniors" to conduct a holiday greeting card drive. The initiative aimed to spread holiday cheer among seniors residing in local nursing homes. Through their combined efforts, over 300 cards and letters were created and distributed to brighten the holidays for these community members.
