Meghan has complemented her classroom experiences with rich, enlightening experiences overseas. As a senior, Meghan embarked on a mission trip to Ecuador to assist with a medical mission. Meghan, along with several medical professionals went to underprivileged areas of Ecuador to provide medical care. This trip, along with Meghan’s adventure to Belize last year to assist in beach and reef cleanups brought her science studies to life. She plans to study biochemistry at Duke University in the fall.
When not studying, Miss Kelly is an active member of her school’s varsity track team, music performance groups, Spanish Club and Interact Club. She is also a volunteer member of the Westhampton Junior Ambulance and has volunteered extensively at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.

This past year, Jess was 1 of 357 students across the world to earn a perfect score on her AP Research Exam. 1.26% of course participants worldwide earned a perfect score on their AP Research Papers. Jess was interviewed and featured on News 12, along with being honored by the state senate. Jess has researched, created, and tested a seaweed liquid fertilizer from an invasive algal species and turned it into fertilizer. Jessica was also named a top 300 Scholar in the 83rd Regeneron Science Talent Search, which is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and mathematics competition for high school seniors. Her dedication to STEM is apparent and she truly looks forward to learning and gaining more knowledge in this field.
In the fall of 2024, Jess will be attending Princeton University!
