Nesaquake Middle School Student is a Champion on Ice

Audrey Spampinato, an eighth grade student at Nesaquake Middle School, won first place in freestyle figure skating this past July at the 2024 State Games of America in San Diego, California.

Her journey to San Diego began earlier this year when her Synchronized Figure Skating team placed at the Empire State Games in Lake Placid in February, securing her eligibility to compete in the State Games of America. Audrey’s stellar performance not only earned her the top spot but also qualifies her for the 2026 State Games of America, where she’ll aim to repeat as a national champion.
