Oh how my heart breaks
for the children
who had
undergone
traumas of war
too horrific
to endure
for ones
so young—
turning into
those chillingly eerie
beings:
the living dead;
Dear Lord!
Please give me
the wisdom, the strength—
to help these poor children,
I beg!!
