With the Democratic Party potentially nominating Vice President Kamala Harries as their candidate for president, you could make the argument that this is a case of “meet the new boss, same as the old boss.” Meaning Harris is really no different than mentally incapacitated President Biden at the top of the ticket.
This is a dangerous train of thought for the Grand Old Party if they are to send President Trump back to the Oval Office for a second term.
The Democrats dumping Biden for Cackling Kamala is more like “meet the radical Progressive new boss who makes AOC look conservative, very different than the frail old boss.”
Yes, it’s easy to poke fun at the bizarre and socially awkward way the vice president laughs uncontrollably in certain situations. Republicans can even make an issue of her past relationships with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown or talk show host Montel Williams.
This is a losing strategy. It will backfire badly.
This is the victorious path: Correctly brand Harris as an out of touch, radical Progressive, San Francisco liberal that she is.
Simple. Use her own words and support of extremist policies that makes "The Squad" proud.
Right now, Harris is seeing a surge in national polling based on a bit of a “honeymoon” phase following her coronation as the Democratic nominee, once the swamp staged a political coup to kick President Biden out of the race.
The vice president will ride another wave of positive press when her VP nominee is selected, followed by the Democratic National Convention, starting on August 19th.
It will be an artificial bump in polling that will not last, if Republicans play their cards right.
That’s because most folks are not completely familiar with Harris’s core California liberal beliefs that cater to woke extremists, not average Americans.
The vice president’s radical Progressive policies and beliefs echo fellow extremists Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and AOC. This is the harrowing Harris record:
She coddles criminals and fights to spring hard core bad actors from prison by supporting a Minnesota bail fund following the George Floyd riots there. One convict Kamala helped get out of jail went in to kill an innocent bystander standing on a train platform.
Harris supports Bernie Sander's federal takeover of your health care, which would cost taxpayers at least $32 trillion. Think about it: Kamala Harris wants to eliminate private health insurance and replace our current system with one managed by bureaucrats.
She wants to eliminate the use of fossil fuels. That’s right, Harris doesn’t just want to wean America off the use of fossil fuels, she doesn’t want them used at all in the United States.
The presumptive Democratic nominee for president supported killing the Keystone Pipeline, resulting in the loss of 11,000 jobs.
As Joe Biden’s “Border Czar,” Harris refused to visit the southern border and fought to keep it wide open, resulting in fentanyl, gangs, drugs, bad actors, and illegal aliens flowing to every corner of America.
She vehemently opposed President Trump’s tax cuts, which provided a family of four $2,000 in tax relief. Harris also called AOC’s plan to implement a 70% to 80% top tax rate as “fantastic.”
Not only did Harris vote against pay raises for military members, she supported the controversial Iran nuclear deal, which pumped $150 billion to one of America’s and Israel’s biggest enemies.
There you have it. The Harris record should scare the daylights out of every single American, other than those who want to defund the police, wipe Israel off the map, implement government-run healthcare, support burning our flag, want AOC’s “Green New Deal” to become law of the land, and forces us to become even more dependent on bad actors for oil.
The race for the White House really begins in earnest after Labor Day. Until then, I don’t fear polls that show Harris with a “two-point” lead over President Trump in national polls.
Keep in mind, Hillary Clinton had a four-point lead over Trump in national polls back in 2016, and 'thankfully' she lost the Electoral College vote to him.
So if the vice president is “only” up by two points nationally, to me that points to an Electoral College landslide for President Trump.
For that to become reality, I hope and pray Republicans rip her record of being a radical Progressive San Francisco liberal.
If that happens, Donald J. Trump will become the first commander in chief to serve two nonconsecutive terms since the 22nd and 24th president of the United States, Grover Cleveland, served in the White House from 1885 to 1889 and from 1893 to 1897.
