Republican candidates on the November slate hosted a community barbecue at the Maples in Manorville, an event that also collected donations for local food pantries. From left are, county Legislator Jim Mazzarella, Brookhaven Councilwoman Jane Bonner, Councilman Dan Panico, who’s running for town supervisor, Karen Dunne Kesnig, a candidate for Panico’s board seat, and Brookhaven Supervisor Ed Romaine, who’s leading the GOP ticket in his run for county executive.
