When the call went out from the Lighthouse Mission that mothers were in need of diapers this holiday season, Legislator Dominick Thorne responded, and soon the bins were overflowing at the Bellport non-profit. “While some parents worry about what toys to get their kids, we have some who worry about getting them diapers,” Thorne said as he joined Senator Dean Murray in presenting the mission with diapers, coats, and checks they lined up from the Suffolk PBA, Sheriffs PBA, and Correction Officers.
