The newest edition of the South Shore Press sports team has arrived! Sports reporter Tom Barton and his wife Abby welcomed the newest edition to their growing family: Finnegan James Barton.

Baby Boy Barton was born on Friday, May 24th, 2024, at approximately 9:03 a.m. He tipped the scales at six pounds, 15 ounces and came into the world at 19 and ¾ inches tall.

Once Finnegan is old enough to tackle opponents on the gridiron and swing for the fences on the T-ball diamond, he’ll be joining his ace father writing sports stories for the South Shore Press.

Congratulations to Tom and Abby Barton from the South Shore Press and all of Suffolk County.
