Coat Giveaway on November 23rd | WFSD

William Floyd United Teachers (WFUT) is set to host its second annual 1,000 Coat Giveaway on Saturday, November 23. The event will take place at the William Floyd High School west gymnasium, starting at 9 a.m. WFUT invites the community to participate in this event designed to support families as temperatures drop and holiday celebrations begin.

The giveaway features 1,000 coats, winter gloves, and scarves made possible by contributions from Helpsy, East End Screen Printing, and William Floyd teachers. Additionally, WFUT will distribute 300 frozen turkeys and Thanksgiving sides to ensure families can enjoy a complete holiday meal.
