Stony Brook University's Office of Military and Veteran Student Services has been highlighted in the latest issue of U.S. Veterans Magazine. The feature focuses on the various programs and support systems available for student veterans and their dependents at the university.

Pamela Pfeil, associate director of Military and Veteran Student Services, discussed with the magazine how Stony Brook University is leading in "providing exceptional support to military and veteran students, creating an environment where they can thrive academically, socially and professionally."

The article emphasizes Stony Brook's comprehensive approach to addressing the unique challenges faced by veterans while recognizing their contributions to campus life. The Veterans Center at the university is noted as a key space that fosters belonging and community among student veterans.
