Brentwood Islanders Lions Club aids Suffolk County Community College's food pantry

The food pantry at Suffolk County Community College has received support from the Brentwood Islanders Lions Club. This assistance is part of an effort to help students who face difficulties affording basic necessities. The recent drive organized by the club plays a significant role in reducing food insecurity among students on campus.

Suffolk County Community College is known as the largest and most comprehensive community college within the State University of New York (SUNY) system. It enrolls over 21,000 students across more than 100 degree and certificate programs. With a strong alumni network of over 145,000 individuals, the college focuses on meeting regional employers' needs by providing pathways from high school to college and into careers.
