President Biden is well known for his political talking point that the rich should "pay their fair share" of taxes. This is interesting because wealthy elitists comprise a sizable portion of Biden's political base. The mystery as to why this base would enthusiastically support a man who claims that he wishes to raise taxes on them is part of an interesting answer to the question of whether taxing the rich is the key to solving the fiscal problems of the United States.

A Gallup survey released in February 2024 tells us a great deal about which issues are most important to American citizens heading into the 2024 presidential election. In the survey, respondents were asked to name their top issue of concern. Based on what is happening at our borders, particularly our southern border, it is no surprise that immigration was listed as the top issue of concern at 28%.

McCormick, who has committed to the University of Florida, was honored for her performance at the Nike Cross Country Nationals, one of the most prestigious high school running events in the country.
