A recent survey found that almost half of Americans consider themselves broke, while two-thirds consider themselves to be living paycheck to paycheck. Politicians would like to blame you and how you manage your personal finances.

President Biden is well known for his political talking point that the rich should "pay their fair share" of taxes. This is interesting because wealthy elitists comprise a sizable portion of Biden's political base. The mystery as to why this base would enthusiastically support a man who claims that he wishes to raise taxes on them is part of an interesting answer to the question of whether taxing the rich is the key to solving the fiscal problems of the United States.

A Gallup survey released in February 2024 tells us a great deal about which issues are most important to American citizens heading into the 2024 presidential election. In the survey, respondents were asked to name their top issue of concern. Based on what is happening at our borders, particularly our southern border, it is no surprise that immigration was listed as the top issue of concern at 28%.
